Hi there!
We spoke on the phone and hopefully got everything working, but I wanted to leave a few tips here in case someone else runs into the same issue:
⸻
1. Fully Charge the Controller
The most common issue is low battery. Even if it seems like it’s been charging, a weak battery can cause the connection to fail or drop intermittently. Make sure the unit is fully charged before troubleshooting anything else.
⸻
2. Try a Different USB Port
Remove the USB receiver dongle from the current port on your mini-PC and plug it into a different available USB port. After doing that, restart the computer to ensure the receiver is properly initialized.
⸻
3. Re-Pair the Controller
Check your wireless keyboard/mouse combo for a key labeled RF. This is used to initiate the pairing process.
- If the RF key has a colored label (often blue), you’ll likely need to hold the FN key (usually the same color) and then press the RF key together.
- This sends a pairing signal to reconnect the device with the USB dongle.
⸻
4. Check Device Manager (Windows only)
For a more technical check, open Device Manager on the mini-PC and look for any warning icons (yellow triangle or red X) next to USB or HID (Human Interface Device) devices. This may indicate a driver issue or a problem with the receiver.
⸻
If none of that works, try the controller on a different computer to confirm whether the issue is with the controller or the mini-PC itself.
If you are still having issues, please get in touch with us so we can help you figure out next steps!
Cheers
