Hey Russel,
I'm assuming your glasses are polarized right? The monitor also have a polarized filter and it sort of match your glasses, which cause the issue you mentioned.
The best solution for non-Rx cases is to use a non-polarized sunglasses. But here are some suggestions (some are weird), that may work.
1 - Flip the monitor around. But before you do, test it out first cause it may only work when you rotate 90 degrees and not 180.
If this works, then temporarily you can try to flips it by removing 1 screw that is attached to the back of the monitor through the black L bracket, then pop the monitor out, flip it around. It may not be flush because of the L bracket and the brackets that hold the left side being there, but it may just be enough to let the monitor sit still for the gig.
2 - Screen protectors may solve the issue, this is a very old post I had saved long ago from a forum where a user had the same issue but with his car radio: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=215204
3 - Clear packing tape :D -
Keep in mind that sticking things to the plexiglass may not unstick correctly after and leave residues. And I wouldn't recommend doing these directly on the screen. Maybe those could be placed in one of those transparent plastic sheets and then put on top of the monitor/plexiglass to be an easy on/off solution for the future instead of a permanent one.
I remember googling about that in the past because I have the same issue with mine and remember seeing a lot of different ideas.
Hopefully one works and you can share it here!
