Even though the videos and instructions we show are using Windows/PowerPoint, the same apps and programs work on the Mac. I personally use the Mac as my daily driver, so I do all my lyrics and setup on it. I'm also using Google Drive to store my setlists, so when I'm done on the mac and save the file, it automatically syncs to my google drive.
Then when I turn on my prompter at home before a gig, it connects to my wifi and syncs the folder downloading the lyrics file automatically, that way I don't have to manually transfer it over.
On the Mac I don't even use PowerPoint as it is paid, I use either OpenOffice (free) or Google Drive Pages (free) as both of these offer to save the file as a PPT file to use on the prompter.
